Nice Motor formed from the ashes of Chicago bands Jonny Rumble, The Lifeline, and Super Happy Fun Club, in the fall of 2014. But drummer Seth Webb and singer/guitarist Brian Webb, both Detroit natives, have been playing in bands together since their teenage years. Nice Motor blends the energy of Punk Rock, with the melodic grooves and appeal of Motown, and even manages to venture into some Cosmic Americana. The band thrives on hooks, but refuses to allow itself to fall into any single category or style.
