3AM, is the raw, muddy, collective consciousness of rappers Kenny Morningstar, Moses the Marauder and sonic mastermind, S.Rock. The three met in 2020, where they recorded several songs in Moses’ Chicago garden apartment and after creating an entire catalog of music, decided the unique combination of sounds and ideas demanded a name in addition to their larger collective, Closed Casket. Like their self-titled song, 3AM is a balance of humor, but also introspection. “Our music isn’t just one thought or emotion, we draw from an array of genres as well as themes of both comedy and tragedy, though Hiphop is always the foundation”. An unpredictable pendulum, between consciousness and ignorance, the trio is guaranteed to provide truth, no matter its ugliness or beauty.
